Drill Press

Like everything else, I hunted around and bought it secondhand one that has withstood everything that I have thrown at it.  I have no
doubt that my son will pass it onto his son!  Its a Canadian brand that, from research, looks like it was built in the 50's by the Canadian
Blower & Forge company.  Cast iron, and so bloody heavy to make it a major 2 man lift to even budge it.   Estimated weight is about
100 kilograms or 220 pounds and it runs a 1.5 Hp motor which is unstoppable.  I bought it off an old bloke who used to drill 5/8" holes
in steel plate.  Mind you, no pilot holes, just a 5/8" drill and bang!  into it!   So its a ripper that will last another 50 years.
